Our approach to nutrition is what we call the Four Founding Pillars of the Horse. When a horse's diet is built upon the Four Pillars, then their diet truly raises a horse from amateur level all the way to a top competition level of performance. Each of our supplements targets one or more aspects of these pillars building upon one another to support your horse’s diet. Ensuring a healthy, happy, calm, and well performing horse.
The first pillar is a horse's cardio vascular capabilities and energy control. For a horse to reach the level of being a top competition level contender then he must be properly trained to increase his cardiovascular capabilities. His ability to manage energy levels (the absorption, retention and usage of energy) will help with stamina and making sure he has enough energy to spare at the end of a training session or a competition. A number of our supplements are formulated to help support the development and maintenance of this fundamental pillar in a horse.
The second pillar is suppleness. A horse must have joint and ligaments that can stand the strain placed on them, repair micro fractures in the tissue, and perform the full range of motion required by horses in all disciplines. A number of our supplements are formulated to help support the development and maintenance of this pillar.
The third pillar is the body. A horse must have a body that can withstand the demands placed on it by top level competition and come out on top better than ever. This includes aspects of the body such as muscles, bone, hooves, and especially the gastro intestinal tract. All these aspects of a horse's body are pushed to the edge in top competition level horses, and only when all are properly maintained does a horse's body becomes a well oiled machine. A number of our supplements are formulated to help support the development and maintenance of this pillar.
The fourth pillar is the mind. A horse must have a calm and sound mind yet also be alert and responsive. Many horses can become distracted and nervous under the pressures of competition. Those that remain calm and composed yet attentive and responsive to their rider’s commands perform at a level higher than others. A number of our supplements are formulated to help support the development and maintenance of this pillar.
Each of our Masters Circle Supplements targets one or multiple aspects of these pillars. Together along with a healthy diet they build up these pillars and raise the level of performance, comfort, and total well being of horses.
