Although strong and hardy, horses are not exempt from illnesses and health issues. The most frequent involve the digestive system (colic), skin (allergies, heat stroke), and joints (osteoarthritis is the main cause of a horse’s retirement). In addition to a balanced diet and exercise, your horse needs specific care to ensure it has a healthy life.

A horse has a comfy neutral body temperature, when a horse is at that temperature they avoid heat stress and cold stress. Our line of Prevention and Care supplements will help a horse return to that comfy temperature when they are either hot or cold, avoiding the burn off of energy that comes with heat and cold stress. These supplements are formulated to be added as dressing on top of the Base mix (pelleted or powdered) and the Fortifier for optimal results.
